We seek proven manufacturing professionals for a key role as Plant Manager in our client's flagship facility in the southeastern U.S. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Manufacturing. The Plant Manager interfaces routinely with customers and internal groups such as marketing, accounting, procurement, logistics, etc.
A leader in their niche of the food processing industry, our client operates numerous facilities throughout the U.S. The company's continual focus on improving processes to enhance quality, safety, efficiency and customer satisfaction ensure there will be opportunities for upward career movement.

Candidates for this role need to have a minimum of:* Five years experience within a facility extracting and refining edible oils such as cottonseed, canola, corn, soybean, or sunflower.
* Must be technically competent in all processes, equipment, mechanics, controls and utility systems.
* Candidates should possess a verifiable track record of progressively responsible assignments within the oil extraction and food processing industry and be ready for the next step in their careers.
Qualifications include: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant discipline;
* reaching and exceeding performance goals;
* a passion for health and safety;
* can solve problems through individual initiative;
* utilize computer skills including databases and spreadsheets to manage tasks and projects;
* the communication and tactical skills to interact with people to get things done.
